Aims
- To develop curiosity and interest in chemistry,
- To acquire an appropriate body of knowledge and understanding in chemistry,
- To acquire an ability to think rationally and critically, and to apply the knowledge of chemistry in making judgments and solving problems,
- To develop skills in scientific investigations,
- To recognize the evolutionary and sometimes transitory nature of chemical knowledge,
- To be acquainted with the language of chemistry and be equipped with the skills in communicating ideas in chemistry related contexts
- develop an appreciation of chemistry and its applications in daily life,
- become aware of the social, economic, environmental and technological implication of Chemistry, and show concern for the environment and society.
